Due to the current COVID-19 situation we update this page with a relevant summary from our FAQs and T&Cs
14 June 2020. Intrastate travel within Queensland opened on 1 June 2020, and interstate travel looks ready to go 12 July 2020. We have reactivated usual shared bus services with best practice and upgraded hygiene procedures. As always we continue to offer private transfer services. As of 20 April 2020 the Federal Government is funding a limited domestic network in May and June 2020. There are approx. 9 scheduled flights per week in and out of Cairns. Our shuttle services remain available to meet these internal Queensland arrivals and departures. This currently means flights by Jetstar and Qantas from Brisbane and Townsville. Book here

We've been in online businesses for over 20 years, and specifically the last six years here in Port Douglas with CairnsAirportShuttle.net.
Like all Australians we have never experienced anything like the current situation.
All transfer bookings between Cairns Airport and Port Douglas and back to Cairns are being delivered.
We are refunding all refund requests received.
Some passengers are requesting 100% credits, and we are issuing these valid for 12 months. Extensions possible. See details below.

As Paul and Visnja live in Port Douglas, we thank you for your understanding and support at this time. Cancellation or credit - your choice.
On 1 April 2020 we commenced a program of refunding existing bookings in the month that the booking was due to be delivered. This means if your booking was for transfers in May, we refunded in May. If your booking was in July, we will refund in July.
Contact us to request your booking refund or transfer to another date. Please include or mention your CAS / CASE reference number when contacting our office.
Thank you for your understanding to help us 'flatten our curve' of refunds while keeping all systems secure, vehicles safely warehoused, and business ready to activate as soon as the COVID-19 economic hibernation is over.

Private transfer cancellations
Late on Sunday 15 March 2020 the Australian Government announced all arrivals into Australia after 16 March 2020 (including Australians returning home) must self isolate for 14 days. We have found this Australian Government smart traveller resource about the new process of self isolation.

- Cancellation more than 24 hours before travel: Refund less $14 per adult and $7 per child cancel fee.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before travel: no refund.
- 100% rollover for 12 months if you need to postpone. You should try to contact us more than 48 hours before travel, and we will happily allocate your booking a credit on our system. You will keep the same booking reference.
- If cancelling a credit once issued, the same cancel fees will apply.
Private transfer cancellations
- $30 cancel fee for one way private transfer cancellation over 24 hours, or
- $50 cancel fee for return private transfer cancellation over 24 hours, or
- $100 under 24 hours cancellation.
